Privacy policy
How this site collects, processes, and stores data — and how to opt out.
Overview
This site (fenil.ai) is the personal website of Fenil Parekh. The page describes what data the site collects, why, and how to opt out where applicable. The site does not sell or share data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Analytics (PostHog)
The site uses PostHog Cloud (US region) for product analytics. Collected: pageviews, click events (autocapture), and session recordings with input fields masked by default. Retention follows PostHog's default schedule (90 days for events, 30 days for session recordings).
§2.1 Opt out of analytics on this browser. Click the button below. PostHog will stop capturing on this browser, and the choice is persisted in your browser's localStorage so it carries across visits.
⊕ Opt-out is per-browser. If you use multiple devices or browsers, opt out on each one. Cross-device opt-out isn't currently supported (this is a documented v1 limitation).
Contact form
Form submissions on /contact are forwarded by a Cloudflare Worker to [email protected]. The form data is not stored elsewhere. Submitted emails are kept indefinitely as personal email; you can request deletion by emailing [email protected] directly.
Cloudflare
Traffic to this site passes through Cloudflare's CDN. Cloudflare processes your IP address, HTTP headers, and standard CDN telemetry per their privacy policy.
Referral links
Some links on the Stack page may pay a small
commission if you sign up for a tool through them. These links carry
the rel="sponsored noopener noreferrer" attribute per
SEO disclosure conventions. The recommendations aren't influenced by
whether a link is a referral; the page exists to document what I use
and why.
Your rights (CCPA + GDPR baseline)
You can request:
- Access to data we hold about you
- Deletion of your data
- Correction of inaccurate data
Email [email protected] with any of these requests. Response within 30 days.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The current version is always at /privacy.
